first MTV Unplugged set I remember ever seeing was Nirvana,Jordan Retro 13, live and unplugged,Mulberry UK. I was in awe – I had never seen or heard this side of Kurt Cobain,Jordan Retro 11. Not only that,Jordan 11, I had never seen a live show before and was thirsty for their stage banter. Cobain wore a cardigan and I felt like we were in his living room. The audience was small and quiet and hung on to his every word. It was delicious. The soft-spoken Cobain was nothing like the guy on my CD’s and certainly not angry-looking guy in the music videos. He would introduce every song with a little background on the inspirations that made the song, and the band would chime in with their two cents every now and then. I remember drummer Dave Grohl was an infant when he was in Nirvana. I went from being a mediocre fan of Nirvana to a die-hard fan from this album.
The second most remarkable unplugged set I’ve seen and heard is Jay-Z with The Roots, featuring a cameo from Mary J. Blige. Jay-Z looks so young during this set
