Temporal and unknown,chanel pas cher, ever-changing and shifting without control is the urban environment in which we inhabit,carrera lunette. It is where we dwell and linger that makes us who we are,carrera. It is through our environment that we are defined,lunettes chanel,Project Space. As artists the work we produce is a tangible reflection of our absorbed experiences,carrera; a record of our mortality,sac chanel pas cher, anxiety,lunette carrera pas cher, temporality,carrera, and history,chanel pas cher; a map of our digested habitat,lunettes carrera.
Environments invites seven artists to interpret their immediate surroundings,sac chanel, to adopt and adapt elements from their phenomenological and cultural locations and create,sac chanel pas cher, in their work,sac chanel, an all-together new habitat,chanel pas cher. In this construction is a tacit acknowledgement of being’s critical importance to our understanding of the world,chanel 2013. “Being is not something like a being,lunette carrera pas cher.”1 Instead,lunette carrera, it is “what determines beings as beings,lunettes chanel, that in terms of which beings are already understood.”2
In being we position ourselves and create our own reality. Environments is an exploration into this process of creation and the impact appropriation and interpretation have on the construction of a place.
